Shmuel Mischel

CEO & Co-founder

Shmuel Mischel the original creator of CutScene Sleep, has always had a passion for gaming. Like many gamers, he turned to live streaming during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, during this time, he noticed a major problem in the gaming community that was going largely unaddressed: gamers couldn't sleep. Struggling with this issue himself, Shmuel began to search for a solution. However, he was dissatisfied with the lack of options available for solving the problem he dubbed "gaming insomnia." As a result, he decided to take matters into his own hands and develop a gaming-focused sleep aid. Two years of hard work later, CutScene Sleep was born.

Shmuel loves competitive and casual gaming. He plays many games but has a special addiction to For Honor.

Brett Friedman

CMO & Co-Founder

You may see Brett as just another random guy on the internet. And you'd be right. But to those who know him he's a whole lot more. An ecommerce marketing wizard, tea connoisseur, and whatever his fiancee wants him to be. These days, you can catch him playing In Death, Omori, and Super Smash Bros on repeat, but his favorite games of all-time are TES4: Oblivion, COD4: MW, and Resident Evil 4. Contrary to what you'd expect, his favorite number is 14. And if you're still reading this, I bet you need a good night's sleep.
